Children’s chairs: safety comes before design

Children’s chairs are among the most common pieces of furniture that have to be specially designed for the nursery, so that the little ones can sit comfortably and according to their age. When buying a baby chair, however, a lot must be considered. Especially schoolchildren spend a lot of time sitting, after all, among other things homework must be done. If the chairs lead to poor posture, the child’s body can be damaged more quickly than an adult. Experts therefore recommend that desk chairs that support the back should be preferred. In addition to the various swivel chairs, all sorts of models are available – from the chair with animal backrest to tripod armchairs. However, design should not be the top priority. More importantly, the seating is safe, which is why four-legged chairs that provide a safer stand are preferable. Furthermore, the children’s chairs should have rounded corners rather than sharp edges. Note also the ingredients of the chairs. Plastic furniture often contains questionable softeners that have no room in the nursery.
